I’m currently in Tel Aviv to gather ideas for an augmented reality city tour project. In Israel, they are far ahead of us technologically in this respect. The graffiti tour from https://tlvnights.com is simply awesome! Extraordinary graffiti with AR brings the city’s exciting history to life. In addition, there is really great storytelling with finely coordinated animations, videos and suitable music. I would like to thank Henry Jakubowicz for organizing the experience. He himself has developed a Holy Tel Aviv Tour and brings forgotten synagogues back to life with AR. Augmented reality is definitely an exciting technology for city tours and also has greater added value than our previous gold standard, virtual reality tours. I’m already looking forward to putting the impressions and new knowledge I’ve gained into practice for international and local guests in German-speaking countries soon!
